Matar Ke Kofte

 

Ingredients:

 1 cup boiled green peas
 ½ tsp ginger paste
 3 green chilies
 2 tsp maida (refined flour)
 2 cups milk
 2 tsp butter
 ¾ cup besan (gram flour)
 ¼ cup green coriander
 ½ tsp black pepper powder
 Salt to taste
 ¼ cup cheese (grated)
 1 big onion (finely chopped)
 1 big tomato (Sliced)
 Oil

Method :

Sieve besan and mix peas’ paste, ginger, coriander powder, green chilies, half of the black pepper powder and salt. Blend it well for ten minutes.

Heat oil in the pan and make balls of the blended mixture. Deep fry the matar balls in heated oil.

Take another pan and heat butter in it.

Add chopped onions to it and fry for two minutes.

Add maida and fry it.

Lower the flame and add milk slowly to it. Stir it continuously to avoid lumps.

Put salt, black pepper powder and cheese (grated).

When you have to serve the dish then add koftas and serve it hot.

Season it with tomatoes and green coriander leaves.
