Szechwan Fried Rice

 

Ingredients:

1 cup Basmathi rice

1/4 cabbage, diced

1/4 capsicum, diced

1 bunch spring onions

6 red chillies

4-5 garlic flakes

1/4 inched ginger piece

/4 cup peas, cooked

1/4 diced carrot

1 tbsp soya sauce

1 tbsp tomato garlic sauce

1/4 tsp pepper powder

1/2 tsp ajinomoto

3 1/2 tbsp oil

Method:

Wash and soak rice for 10 minutes.cook it with 12 to 15 cups of boiling water to which salt and little oil is added.

Drain water and allow to cool completely.

Cut all the vegetables into fine even sized cubes,cut spring onions into 1/2 inches pieces.

Grind together red chillies,garlic and ginger,Heat oil in a large frying pan and add ground masala & fry for 1 min

Stir in onions,carrot,capsicum and cabbage.Fry in a high flame with ajinomoto.

When vegetable are boiled add salt,onion tops and pepper,Fry for a minute.

Mix other sauce and rice.Fry well in high flame for a few minutes and serve steaming hot.
