Mutton-Potato Fry

 

Ingredients:

400 gms mutton pieces

2 potataoes-peeled and cut into bite size pieces

1 onion -sliced

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp fresh pepper powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp fennel seed powder

2 tsp salt

few curry leaves

few coriander leaves

1 tbsp refined oil

250 ml water

Method:

Heat oil in a pressure pan,saute onion slices with mutton pieces,chilli powder,1 tsp salt,turmeric powder,pepper powder,fennel seed powder,curry leaves,coriander leaves and 100 ml water

Saute for atleast 10 mins or till water runs dry.

Then add 150 ml water,potato pieces and 1 tsp salt.Mix well for 15 secs and cover with pan lid and pressure cook upto 4 whistle.

Open the pressure pan after the pressure is released and saute till water runs dry.

Serve this with rice,rasam,yoghurt,etc,.
